FAQ
About Our Services:
Can you do things not listed on the services page?
Yes! We specialize in customized solutions for our customers. If you have a need that matches the skill set of our workers, we can do it!
How do you ensure quality?
We have a three step process to quality control. The first is pre-qualification. Each worker does a series of test tasks. If done with complete accuracy they are then qualified to do that particular task. The second is in-task training. The first few tasks in any new job are monitored. If a worker is not completing them correctly, they are given feedback and asked to correct their mistakes and try again. The monitoring continues until they have completed several tasks in a row successfully. The third is peer review. For some jobs the task are given to two different workers and the answers are compared. If the answers do not match, that task is flagged for review.
How long will it take?
Turn around times vary by project. Most jobs can be completed in 24-48 hours.
How does payment work?
When your work is completed, we will send you an invoice, which you can pay by check, transfer, or credit card.
What if I’m not satisfied?
We are committed to quality. If you are not satisfied with your job, we will redo the incorrect items free of charge.
FAQ
About Our Workers:
Who works for you?
Everyone who registers on our site is first checked against the list of blocked persons compiled by the US Office of Foriegn Asset Control (OFAC) to ensure we are not working with any known terrorist. Although our recruitment efforts are targeted toward refugees, anyone who is not on this list and passes our skills qualification screening can work on our platform.
How much do you pay your workers?
We are very conscious of paying a fair wage, therefore our wages vary by country. We determine an hourly rate by starting with the government established minimum wage for that country, then looking at the living wage index and price parity index to establish an average wage for that country. Certain tasks like translation, research, and transcription have higher wage rates.
How do workers get paid?
Many of our workers do not have bank accounts. In these cases, we use a variety of solutions, ranging from paying to top up “airtime” on cell phone accounts, mobile money payments, wire transfers, and prepaid reloadable gift cards.
